CORSICANA — The campus of Navarro College in Corsicana was closed Wednesday night and will remain shut down all day Thursday because of a bomb threat.
Someone called in that threat saying there was an explosive device on the campus.
"All students, faculty, and staff are asked to remain off campus until an all clear is given," said a statement posted on the school's website.
Students who live on campus were asked to stay in their dorms.
"Please remain away from the main campus until the all clear is given," the school's statement said.
Corsicana is 52 miles south of Dallas.
A portion of the Texas A&M campus in College Station was evacuated Wednesday after a bomb threat at Kyle Field.
