DALLAS — There are a lot of wagers on the outcome of the NBA Finals.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry has offered up barbecue sauce if the Mavs lose to the Heat.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott promises to send key lime pie if the Heat lose.

But one unlikely bet stands out from the rest — it's a friendly wager between two Catholic bishops.

"I want to see Archbishp Wenski wearing a hat that says, 'Don't Mess With Texas," because he has got to learn that lesson," said Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Archdiocese of Dallas.

But that's not all.

"Bishop Farrell wagered barbecue ribs and brisket from Rudy's in Frisco; a box of tortillas and salsa from the Luna Tortilla Factory in Dallas; a deep dish pecan pie from Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana; and a hat," countered Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski.

Wenski offered up a box of hand-rolled cigars, a case of stone crabs from Key West and a jar of sand and ocean.
