FORT WORTH — We are not alone; that's the message this weekend at the 2013 Texas Bigfoot Conference at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
That's where you'll find people who've tracked the sasquatch, and experts who've studied whether it exists.
Field research coordinator Daryl Colyer of the North American Wood Ape Conservancy says he knows without a doubt bigfoot is real, and it's his mission to convince the scientific community.
"I realize it's a large, grandiose ambition, but when you know something's there and other people are telling you it's not, it makes me want to prove it," he said.
According to one group, Texas ranks seventh for the number of bigfoot sightings — mostly in the southeast part of the state.
