FOREST HILL - After a frantic, day-long search a newborn baby was found safe after the infant was kidnapped in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A-amiryia Washington, who was born on Sept. 6, was taken from her home in the middle of the night. Her mother, Ericka Walker, said she fed and burped her daughter sometime after 3 a.m. Thursday, then when the mother woke back up that same hour, A-amiryia was gone.

"[Today has been] crazy," Walker said. "I didn't know what to do."

Police said the baby was taken by Marvin Gallow and Erica Brown. They are acquaintances of the family had been staying at the same home as the child.

The child's grandmother, Sonia Boger, said Gallow and Brown had put up pictures of the baby on their Facebook pages and were acting as if it was their own.

A-amiryia was found in Fort Worth at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday night after police developed leads that led them to the baby.

Gallow and Brown were arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping, a felony. Both had previous misdemeanors on their criminal records, including theft charges for Brown and prohibited weapon and filing a false report charges for Gallow.
