DALLAS — Southern Methodist University school officials shut down several buildings on campus Tuesday morning as a Hazmat team investigated a suspicious package.

Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the scene to investigate the package at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, confirmed spokesman Jason Evans at about 8:40 a.m. Authorities gave the all clear around 10:30 a.m.

On their Twitter account, SMU reported the Crum Basketball Center and Moody Coliseum were closed as the investigation was underway. However, regular classes and normal business operations continued on campus.

The center and library were also closed.
