FORT WORTH –– Attorneys representing the teenager accused of killing 6-year-old Alanna Gallagher withdrew a motion on Wednesday to reduce his bond.

Tyler Holder, 17, is being held on a $1 million bond for the capital murder of the Saginaw girl and the attempted capital murder of Arlington Ofc. Charles Lodatto, who Holder is accused of shooting during an arrest attempt.

Gallagher’s body was wrapped in a tarp dumped on a city street on July 1. The shootout with officers occurred days later.

Holder was not present at the hearing and it’s not clear why his attorneys withdrew the bond reduction request. They also briefly discussed evidence in the case regarding Holder’s criminal and medical history. When asked after the hearing, the attorneys declined to discuss specifics.

Gallagher’s grandmother was in the audience during the hearing but made no comments once it concluded. No other court proceedings have been set in the case.
