ARLINGTON -- In a 5-3 vote, Arlington City Council approved a ban on texting and driving Tuesday night.
It is now against the law to do anything, except make a phone call on your cell phone in the city.
Enforcement could start sometime before the Thanksgiving holiday. The council will set an specific date at a later time.
