FORT WORTH — Fort Worth police say they have arrested a man who may be responsible for more than a dozen robberies in North Texas.
Terry Wilcox, 48, was taken into federal custody Tuesday in connection with an armed holdup Monday at a First Convenience Bank branch inside a Kroger supermarket in Arlington.
Fort Worth police said their detectives and counterparts from other cities are preparing cases against Wilcox related to the other alleged crimes.
The robbery unit said they believe Wilcox may be linked to holdups at ten robberies on Fort Worth's west side and in the White Settlement area in the past three months. He was said to wear a baseball cap, a gray shirt and black jeans while committing the crimes. Police said he displayed a handgun when demanding money.
