American Airlines returns to a bankruptcy court in New York on Tuesday.
The Fort Worth-based carrier once again will ask the judge for permission to cancel its labor contract with pilots.
The judge stopped short of letting American do that a few weeks ago, saying its business plan was overreaching.
American made the changes the judge wanted. The court will now have two weeks to decide whether to let American terminate its labor agreement with pilots.
