COOKE COUNTY - The Amber Alert for a 12-year-old boy has been canceled.
James Anthony Sanders has been found and officials said he is okay.
The alert for Sanders was issued by the Cooke County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday. The alert came six days after the little boy went missing.
Sanders’ mother was attacked on June 17. After that incident, investigators started searching for the child’s father, Michael Louis Sanders.
Officials are not releasing a lot of details, but investigators believed the boy was with his estranged father.
