DALLAS - Flags will be permitted on soldiers' graves at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Earlier this month, News 8 ran a story on two Cleburne veterans who were trying to raise money to put 35,000 flags on veterans' graves.
The men ran into red tape from Washington, D.C. and were concerned they would have to stop their project.
Wednesday, News 8 learned the Department of Veterans Affairs will allow flags on graves at the local cemetery.
The men still need $6,900 to finish the project. For more information or to donate, contact Bob Fussner at thurman903@yahoo.com.
