DALLAS — The Dallas County District Attorney's office will seek the death penalty for Franklin Davis, the man accused of killing a Carrollton teenager.
The body of 16-year-old Shania Gray was found in the Trinity River on September 8.
A Dallas County grand jury indicted Davis on capital murder charges Wednesday.
Prosecutors allege he used Facebook to set up a fake account to make contact with Shania. He took her from her school and killed her.
Davis' trial is set for April 15 next year.
