Here are some government and business schedules for today:
GOVERNMENT
Federal agencies and post offices, except for the main office at Sylvan Avenue and Interstate 30 in Dallas, will be closed.
State offices will be open.
Dallas County, Tarrant County and most other area county offices will be open.
Dallas, Fort Worth and most other city offices will be open. Municipal tennis centers, golf courses, museums and other facilities will be open. Trash will be collected in most areas.
SCHOOLS
Many, but not all, public schools will be open.
BUSINESS
Most banks will be closed.
Most businesses and department and retail stores will be open.
TRANSPORTATION
Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the T buses of the Fort Worth Transportation Authority will run on a regular weekday schedule.
