DALLAS - The number two prosecutor in the Dallas County District Attorney's Office is leaving her post effective July 1.
Terri Moore, the first assistant to District Attorney Craig Watkins since 2007, said she is ready to move back into private practice after a successful four-and-a half years on the job.
Moore said she is proud of her accomplishments, believes the DA's office is in capable hands and said she looked forward to not making the nearly three-hour roundtrip drive to work daily.
Two other top assistants, Mike Ware and Kevin Brooks, are also leaving the DA's office to return to private practice.
