IRVING — The $250 million Irving Entertainment Center planned for Las Colinas has been dealt another setback.
Financial advisors for the City of Irving on Wednesday recommended City Council members cut the project by about half.
They say inflated revenue projections — combined with lower than expected tax collections — put the city at too much risk and would lower the municipal bond rating.
The Council could settle on the project's fate in the coming weeks.
