GRAND PRAIRIE – City officials say trucks will ground-spray Wednesday evening for mosquitos following the city's 17th human case of West Nile.
The spraying will begin at 9 p.m. Wednesday and last until midnight. The region being sprayed is bound by Westchase Dr. on the north, Westcliff Rd. and Fargo Dr. on the east, San Jacinto Dr. on the south and Dechman Dr. and E. Bardin Rd. on the west.
On Tuesday, Dallas County announced its 15th fatality from West Nile, a man in his 60s who lived in Grand Prairie near Interstate 20 and suffered from underlying health problems.
