DALLAS — Flu vaccine was tough to come by last year in Dallas County, but that will not be the case this time around.
Health officials begin distributing flu shots at Dallas County clinics on Monday. This year, the flu vaccine is recommended for almost everyone over six months old.
The shot also protects against the H1N1 virus; some children may require two doses.
Dallas County's main clinic is located off Stemmons Freeway just north of Wycliff. The vaccine is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Shots are $20 for adults and $5 for children.
Other counties have yet to release their vaccination plans.
