First H1N1 related death in Collin County

COLLIN COUNTY, Texas - Collin County Health Care Services has reported that a 28-year-old Collin County resident who died recently was infected with the H1N1 flu.

Officials said the man had underlying medical conditions. 

The health department stresses the threat of the H1N1 influenza remains as the flu season continues. The public is urged to get vaccinated either by their primary physician or at a free H1N1 clinic.

Collin County is offering a clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. January 16 at Anna High School, which is located at 1201 North Powell Parkway.
