Dallas County has confirmed the first mosquito of the season to test positive for West Nile virus was found in a Cedar Hill neighborhood.

No humans have tested positive so far, but with rain in the forecast it's a good reminder to get rid of standing water.

Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Zach Thompson spoke to News 8 about the issue.
