DALLAS - Serious and potentially life-threatening problems continue at Parkland Hospital, according to a report by hospital monitors.

The report details hundreds of problems, including filthy rooms, medication errors, emergency room neglect and dangerously unsupervised trainees.

Parkland has been under federal order to fix safety issues, or lose the hospitals Medicaid and Medicare funding.

Parkland CEO Dr. Tom Royer spoke to Parkland employees Wednesday afternoon, and News 8's medical reporter, Janet St. James, was given exclusive access to the meeting.
