DALLAS — We've learned of a fourth death which may be linked to the outbreak of West Nile virus in Dallas County.
A Dallas family tells News 8 their 86-year-old grandfather died on Saturday night. They said he was in the hospital for two weeks with the virus.
The number of human cases increases by the day. As of Friday, there were 174 confirmed cases in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties, with about half of them in Dallas County.
We expect new official numbers on Monday.
