There is dramatic video of progress of a young mother whose spine was severed during a random knife attack.

Brandi Todd was paralyzed while playing with her children at a Stephenville park.

Her courage and determination drew national attention.

She's standing tall and tells Channel 8's Jim Douglas she's more encouraged than ever that she will someday walk again.
