DALLAS — A North Texas family has started finalizing plans to bring a fallen missionary back home. A memorial service for Jean Arnwine is scheduled for Wednesday.
Her family says Highland Park United Methodist Church will be chartering a jet to the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to retrieve Arnwine's body.
Photos released Saturday show Arnwine, 49, and other church members volunteering at an eye clinic in Port-au-Prince on a mission trip.
Arnwine died early Friday morning from injuries she suffered after the clinic building collapsed on her.
