ARLINGTON — Another team of North Texas medical professionals boarded a plane for Haiti Monday morning. The team of nurses and an anesthesiologist left the Arlington Municipal Airport just after 6 a.m.
They loaded about 500 pounds of urgently-needed medical supplies into their plane before taking off. The group will make one stop in Miami before arriving in Haiti.
Over the weekend, two more medical teams from Dallas flew into Port-au-Prince to assist with quake recovery efforts.
