Group home manager fatally shot at residence following an argument

DALLAS – Manager of a Dallas group home was fatally shot after an argument erupted at the residence Saturday morning.

Around 6:45 a.m., officers arrived at a group home located at 7022 Forest Parkway where there were reports of a shooting. Upon officers arrival, Dallas Fire Rescue (DFR) transported the victim to a local hospital, where the victim later died.

Investigators say, according to residents of the group home, two women and the group home manager were "involved in a verbal argument regarding money."  One of the women fatally shot the victim, police say.

None of the residents witnessed the shooting, police say.

Dallas PD is asking that anyone with any information regarding this homicide to contact the department's homicide unit at 214-671.3661.
