James Bias, from the SPCA of Texas, introduces us to Thursday's "Tailwagger" named "Nemo."
Nemo, a 5-year-old black and brown tabby with white marking, was named after the "Finding Nemo" fish, which has a small right fin. Nemo the cat also has a disability, where her front right leg is shorter than the others.
However, Bias said that doesn't stop Nemo the cat from being active.
"It doesn't hamper her ability to get around," he said. "She's a social butterfly [and] the first one to greet you when you come in our Perry Animal Care Center in the cat area."
Nemo is from the Perry Animal Care Center at 8411 Stacy Road in McKinney. Call 214-742-SPCA to inquire about Nemo.
