ROWLETT — A Rowlett city park that was closed to capture coyotes will reopen to the public on Tuesday.

The city closed Rowlett Nature Trail Park on February 22 after reports of missing pets near the trail and Rowlett Creek.

Rowlett Animal Control worked with the Texas Wildlife Service to capture five coyotes. Since then, there have been no additional reports of missing pets.

The trail is south of the Miller Road Bridge.
