BUENA PARK, California — Attention, thrill-seekers: Nearly two dozen riders were stranded 300 feet in the air on the WindSeeker ride at the Knott's Berry Farm theme park in Southern California Wednesday.

The ride lifts people 301 feet into the air on a swing-like seat and spins them around.

It's the second time the ride has gotten stuck this month, and it took more than two hours to get the riders back on terra firma.

If the WindSeeker looks familiar, that's because Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington has plans to install a similar attraction.

The Texas Skyscreamer is billed as the world's tallest swing ride, but it's made by a different manufacturer.

It will stand 400 tall, spinning at 32 mph.

It opens next year.
