DALLAS — As we count down to Super Bowl XLV, North Texas has landed a major performer — someone who is no stranger to the NFL championship.
Prince was the feature attraction for the Super Bowl halftime show three years ago. Now he is scheduled to perform a charity concert in downtown Dallas on February 4, the Friday before the big game.
He will be playing "in an exclusive custom designed climate-controlled performance tent" on the site of the former Reunion Arena, according to a news release from the Goss-Michael Foundation.
The foundation, which contributes to the Dallas arts community, will benefit from the proceeds. Tickets start at $1,500.
