ANDY GRIGGS - HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Andy Griggs' home has been destroyed by a fire. But, he and his family escaped unharmed. Their home is a total loss from Saturday's fire. His publicist says Griggs and his family "are strong in their spiritual faith and they are very appreciative to be alive." Griggs is touched by the support and messages he's getting from fans.

WYNONNA, TIM McGRAW, MILEY CYRUS ON OPRAH

CHICAGO (AP) — It's heroes day on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." And, Wynonna, Tim McGraw and Miley Cyrus will help salute those heroes. For Wynonna, we'll see her perform at Ft. Bragg, welcoming home the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade Combat Team returning from Iraq.

TRACY LAWRENCE - MISSION POSSIBLE TURKEY FRY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Lorrie Morgan and other celebs are joining Tracy Lawrence for his annual Mission Possible Turkey Fry today. It benefits the Nashville Rescue Mission and it's happening in the mission's parking lot. Lawrence predicts he and his celebrity cooks will fry more than 400 turkeys today. This is the fourth year they've been supporting the mission this way.

DOLLY PARTON - OPENS STORE IN NASHVILLE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Dolly's going retail. "Dolly Parton's Trinkets and Treasures" opens today in Nashville. If you're on 2nd Avenue North in the historic downtown section of Nashville, it'll be hard to miss. It's pink, yellow, red, blue, green and purple. And, Parton's music can be heard coming from the store. Inside, along with her music and DVDs, there are T-shirts, hats, jewelry and stuff for kids and tweens. The store opens today with specials for shoppers who spend a certain amount. Then, in the spring, Parton herself will host the store's grand opening. (Dolly Parton's store is at 126 2nd Avenue North, Nashville.)

''A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VOLUME 7"

UNDATED (AP) — This year's edition of "A Very Special Christmas," the seventh volume, is all about youth. It's young recording artists. And, many of them are country. This time, Carrie Underwood does "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." AMA Breakthrough Artists, Gloriana, do "Silent Night." Kellie Pickler sings "Santa Baby," the Carter Twins "Let It Snow" and Miley Cyrus is "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." As always, "A Very Special Christmas," raises money for the Special Olympics.
