Baylor nursing students train on birthing simulator

No two deliveries are the same.

It's a piece of sound advice from experienced nurses in labor and delivery rooms across the country.

Now students training to work in that environment are realizing it's true before they ever bring a new baby into the world.

Students at Baylor University - Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas are seeing that up close.

The nursing school recently acquired "Victoria" to help students get the most immersive "high fidelity" training environment.

Shannon Reed is a graduate student in her final year to obtain her nursing/midwifery certification.

“We know if we make a mistake, we can learn from it and practice again right away,” Reed.
