DALLAS -- Dallas Independent School officials confirm Frank Guzick Elementary School in east Dallas remains on modified lockdown mode at this hour.
Sources tell News 8 a man has threatened to cause harm to someone inside the school, possibly an employee.
DISD school officials said no one has been harmed. Children and staff members are now allowed to go to the lunchroom and use the restroom, but that's all. Still, no one is being allowed to enter or leave the school, which is located at 5000 Berridge Lane in Dallas.
Police said they have not been asked to assist in any way and DISD police are handling the matter themselves.
DISD school officials say the school went into lockdown at 9:05 a.m. Modified lockdown began at 11:35 a.m.
