DALLAS - Dallas ISD adopted its budget for the next school year Thursday night.
There were no surprises, but there were funding cuts.
The property tax rate should remain the same, but there are no new raises for workers and the student-teacher ratio is going up for students from pre-kindergarten to fourth grade.
The district had to balance a budget with $37 million less in state funding.
