DALLAS -- Dallas ISD is dealing with a new resignation from the top.
The district's chief of staff stepped down Thursday.
Alan King was the chief financial officer, then interim superintendent until Mike Miles was hired.
According to Miles, King only wanted to stay long enough to help with the transition. He leaves on good terms with the district.
