When did you figure out what you wanted to be when you grew up?
Texas wants your student to start thinking about it sooner, rather than later.
Starting this fall, eighth graders will have to choose an endorsement. It's a little like choosing a college major.
Students will pick from one of five focus areas: arts and humanities, business, public services, STEM, or multi-disciplinary studies.
That choice will have a major influence on the courses they will take during high school.
But is it too early to choose a possible career path?
