It was a tough start for the TCU Horned Frogs last week, so it's time to break out the purple in support. Laura Thornquist gives Thursday's "Insider Savings" tips that include deals for just wearing TCU Purple.

Purple Friday's are back. If you wear purple Friday in support of TCU you can receive exclusive deals from TCU Purple Friday Partners. For example, at Paciugo in Sundance Square, buy one cup of gelato and get one free.

You can enjoy $15 off a one-hour massage at Pure Bliss on West 7th Street in Fort Worth, or get a free iced tea or soft drink at Cooper's BBQ in the Stockyards. There is a full list of partners on my website. Wear your purple on Fridays and Go Frogs!

And it's that time again that moms and soon-to-be moms love. That's right, Just Between Friends is back.

The Fall/Winter Children's and Maternity Consignment Sale starts Thursday at the Mesquite Rodeo Exhibit Hall. Save on maternity clothes, baby equipment, toys, electronics and children's decor. If you decide to sell any products, you can earn up to 70 percent back on your sold items. If you go Thursday, you will pay a $3 admission fee, but the rest of the weekend is free.

The JBF sale isn't the only one going on this weekend; you can pick up some great deals this weekend at IKEA.

On Saturday,  the Nordby tray comes in three different colors and is only $4.99. It's the perfect breakfast in bed tray. If you include some other coffee products, you can surprise someone special this weekend. Pair it with a white mug for under $1.50 or an espresso cup and saucer for just $2.99.
