Now that October is officially here, it's time to start planning our Halloween parties -- so let's start with this year's costume!

We will see a lot of deals come our way this month. I searched and searched this entire weekend for costumes for the family.

I ended up using Costume Warehouse. I've never used them before, but I did a ton of comparison pricing, and on average, you'll save $2 to $15, even beating Amazon.

You can also check out OldNavy.com. Tuesday is the last day to enjoy 30 percent off anything you buy, including their discounted Halloween costumes. We found a few kids costumes for just $12.04. Shipping is only $7, or free, if you make a $50 purchase.

Walgreens is offering 25 percent off their Halloween costumes this week. This is a nice discount if you like to shop early, and it gives you a bigger selection of costumes. And if you are planning a kids Halloween party, you can pick up Halloween pencils or gift sacks for only $0.12 a piece, or Halloween Activity Pads or books for $0.33. Both deals are with in-store coupons.

And if you enjoy making your own Halloween costume, visit Hancock Fabrics and get up to 50 percent off fabric. And when you use the coupon code: HKFHELLO at checkout, you can save an additional $5 off your $50 order. This deal is good through October 10.

This week we also have a few deals to celebrate National Taco Day!

Taco Cabana is giving you a free taco Tuesday between 5 and 8 p.m. So visit Taco Cabana today and get your free chicken fajita taco -- no purchase and no coupon are needed.

And there is still time to grab a Buy 1, Get 1 free lunch entrée coupon at the Outback Steakhouse. Go to their Facebook page and "like" them. You can get the Buy 1, Get 1 Free coupon and/or a $5 off two entrees coupon. You will get your coupon within 48 hours.
