Insider saver Laura Thornquist has a few ways to help keep your budget in tact!

First, you can cut costs on produce by considering buying at the Farmer's Market or local co-op groups. Another option is to pick up is Bountiful baskets. There are five pick-up locations in Texas or you can start your own. You will receive a laundry size basket of fresh fruits and veggies for $15, twice a month.

Meat and poultry prices are not on the rise, because of supply and demand. That will change, so the best suggestion is to STOCK UP on your meat to save the most! Last month, Zaycon brought natural chicken to the DFW Metroplex for $1.49 a pound. They will be coming again soon with beef, so sign up so you can be alerted when they are coming again.

To save on gas, make sure and check out the Murphy USA smartphone app. The Murphy app allows you to see low priced gas at a certain station and lock in the lowest price within 24 hours.

Do not forget to use coupons to cut your budget. We have grocery deal match ups with coupons so you can get the best value even with increasing prices.

Panda Express is offering a free single serving entrée of Golden Treasure Shrimp March 9, 2011.

You have to go on facebook and "like" Panda Express, then download the coupon which you can get on Wednesday!

Wednesday is also the day to get a free Blizzard from Dairy Queen. "Like" Dairy Queen on facebook to keep an eye on their updates!
