Sex trafficking rescue inspires mom to spread awareness on child prostitution

It only took 72 hours for the FBI to take down more than 150 accused pimps in a nationwide crackdown on sex trafficking.

More than 100 child prostitutes were rescued.

The epidemic of sex trafficking caught the attention of one North Texas mom, Karen Jenkins. She's now working on a film to support law enforcement and other groups who help trafficking victims.

Tuesday morning, she shared her story withe News 8 Daybreak.
