DALLAS — Dallas police spent more than five hours dealing with a man who barricaded himself inside a house in South Dallas.
Police were called to the residence in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 8 p.m. Friday after someone reported the suspect had made a threat with a gun.
The man continued to hold police at bay until almost 1:30 a.m. Saturday. That's when SWAT officers fired tear gas into the house.
After another 25 minutes, police went in and wrestled the man outside, where he was searched and handcuffed.
The suspect's name was not released, and it was not clear what charges he might face. No injuries were reported.
