ARLINGTON - One person was arrested after a high-speed chase that began early Wednesday morning in Duncanville and ended in Arlington.
The chase began when an officer attempted to pull over a driver on a routine traffic violation around 1 a.m. in Duncanville. The driver fled, leading police on a high-speed chase through Duncanville, into Grand Prairie and then into the Arlington area in a neighborhood at Florence Street and Browning Drive.
The driver bailed from the vehicle, fleeing on foot. Two passengers were questioned by police as officers searched for the driver, who was eventually found and arrested shortly after 3:15 a.m.
It is unknown at this time why the driver fled.
Both Dallas sheriff deputies and Arlington police assisted in the chase.
