DALLAS - A 21-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a DART train in Dallas around 10 p.m. Thursday on the rail bridge over the Trinity River.
The northbound train was on its way to the rail yard when it hit the man. There were no passengers on the train at the time of the incident.
Authorities said it is still unclear what the young man was doing on the tracks.
DART light rail service was back on schedule Friday morning.
Investigators have not released the victim's name.
