NASA scientists are working around the clock to predict where a plummeting six-ton satellite will fall this week.
The space agency expects more than two dozen pieces will survive re-entry and hit the earth's surface. They think it will happen on Friday, give or take a day.
Dr. Marc Hairston is a scientist at UT Dallas and talked with News 8 Daybreak's Cynthia Izaguirre on the implications and the odds of the satellite hitting North Texas.
