ARLINGTON - Thrills by Day, Frights by Daybreak! WFAA's Colleen Coyle and Wyatt Goolsby got a preview of the newest scare at Six Flags Fright Fest on Tuesday's News 8 Daybreak. Each October, Six Flags transforms from theme park to "scream park" becoming the largest Halloween Festival in North Texas.
"Well, I think one thing that it is important for families to understand is that during the day there are plenty for the little ones to enjoy. We have a kids costume cat walk. We have a trick-or-treat trail with the Looney Tunes characters and then once the sun starts to set we have something for the older ones who love to get a good scare," Communications Manager Sharon Parker said.
Those real scares begin for the big kids with 4 bone-chilling haunted houses including the newest addition - Piggy's Blood Shed. News 8 Daybreak took a walk through Tuesday of this hog farm gone hog wild! As Colleen and Sharon found out, there's a scare behind every corner!
The thrills and chills run on weekends through October 29th.
