ARLINGTON - Summer is right around the corner and that means Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will be back in full swing! The park opens for the 2013 season on Saturday offering new improvements and attractions for guests.
The largest water park in North Texas has added two new thrilling slides - Typhoon Twister and Tsunami Surge. Both will open later this summer.
Typhoon Twister - an adrenaline-packed ride down a tunnel and into a bowl-shaped slide! After spinning around multiple times in the belly of the slide, riders are thrust through a corkscrew exit into a refreshing splash pool.
Tsunami Surge - a thrilling ride down a 68-foot enclosed tunnel! Riders build speed to take on a 40-foot wave slide on the other side. Riders experience zero-gravity as they surge to the top of the slide before gliding down to the landing pool.
There's a wet and wild ride for everyone in the family! Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens for the 2013 season on Saturday May 11, 2013.
