Instant Live 8: February is National Canned Food Month

The North Texas Food Bank needs your help! February is National Canned Food Month, and volunteers say this is also the time of year they see a slow-down in donations. News 8 got a look inside one of the warehouses Wednesday to get a perspective on how massive this operation really is. Four levels of packaged meals line the aisles of the warehouse. Even with all these donations, there is still room to fill! Nearly 300,000 meals per day are needed to feed those struggling with hunger in our area.
