COPPELL - North Texans are raising money to fight cancer through a show of strength. On Friday, the Coppell Fire Department hosted a fire truck pull at Wagon Wheel Park.
On Friday morning before the event, firefighters showed News 8 how a group of ten can get the job done. They pulled their truck 75 feet in less than a minute. Fire Chief Kevin Richardson said the event is a great way to encourage a sense of community while supporting the American Cancer Society.
This is the first time the Coppell Fire Department has hosted a fire truck pull. They say if it's successful, they'll consider it as a regular event.
