Fatal accident
FORT WORTH — Two men were killed in a one-car accident early Saturday in far north Fort Worth.
Police said the vehicle the men were in was traveling eastbound in the 13000 block of Saginaw Boulevard when the driver lost control and hit a ravine about 2:05 a.m.
The car then went airborne about 70 feet and hit a gas station canopy support.
The pssenger in the car was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office as 27-year-old Christopher Weldon. The driver's name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Investigators were reviewing surveillance video at the convenience store to learn more about how the accident happened.
