DALLAS - Over the next four days, all of your favorite Disney characters, including Cinderella, Rapunzel and Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog are challenging kids young and old to "Dare to Dream."

"Disney on Ice" returns to American Airlines Center, but this time it features North Texas resident Johnny Harris. Harris, a former professional skater from Allen, has joined the traveling ice show team.

"I am living my dream," he said. "Being able to perform in front of a home crowd where the Mavericks play is awesome."

The magical show includes 39 performers from nine different countries. The cast changes into 178 different costumes and skates around about 50 different props as the audience relives the magic in the French Quarter with Tiana from Princess and the Frog, the timeless story of Cinderella and Rapunzel letting down her hair onto the ice.

Thirteen large semi-tractor trailers were used to to haul the equipment needed to pull off the show at the American Airlines Center. The show runs through April 1.
