DALLAS - This Monday's "After the Bell" is about a summer camp putting the buddy system into practice with great results.

The children in The Turn-Around Agenda program are having the time of their life at the Oak Cliff Fellowship Church. Like most summer camps, it offers a wide variety of programs. With 21 programs in all, the kids get to do everything from basketball to attending beauty classes.

The Turn Around Agenda relies on high school students to serve as "VIPs," and act as role models to the younger children.

"All the kids remind me of myself," said 15-year-old Bria Johnson, a VIP. "You have to help them learn how to grow up and be mature and responsible, like I did."

The VIPs also get an extra bonus; their summer hours can count toward graduation requirements.
